The countdown has begun! Pride Halton is thrilled to announce that our fourth annual parade and Pride in the Park celebration is returning on July 19, 2026, in Milton. What started as a vision four years ago has blossomed into a landmark event for our 2SLGBTQIA+ community and allies across Halton Region.

From Vision to Landmark Event: The Pride Halton Journey

When Pride Halton launched four years ago, our founders envisioned a celebration that would give our community a visible platform for connection, celebration, and pride. That vision has exceeded our wildest expectations.

Year after year, attendance has grown. The 2025 celebration saw record-breaking engagement with thousands of community members and allies gathering in Milton. Businesses stepped up as sponsors. Volunteers donated countless hours. Local organizations brought their voices to the parade. And most importantly, 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and their loved ones felt celebrated and affirmed.

A Message from Matthew George, Chair

Matthew George, Chair of Pride Halton, shares: "Four years ago we set out to build something our community could call its own. The growth we've seen has been extraordinary. In 2026 we are expanding the experience, welcoming new partners, and creating even more moments of pride and connection. We cannot wait to celebrate together again."

What to Expect at Pride Halton 2026

Based on the incredible success of 2025, Pride Halton 2026 will feature an expanded experience designed to welcome even more participants and celebrate our diverse community.

The Parade

Leading the way through Milton, our 2026 parade will feature floats, marching groups, performers, and community organizations celebrating 2SLGBTQIA+ pride and visibility. Whether you're riding a float, marching with your organization, or cheering from the sidelines, the parade brings our community together in a powerful way.

Pride in the Park

Following the parade, Pride in the Park brings our celebration to a family-friendly setting filled with live entertainment, vendor booths, food and beverages, interactive activities, and opportunities to connect with community organizations. It's a day of celebration that welcomes everyone.
