Pride Halton 2026:
Our Biggest Year Yet

A parade that outgrew its own record
470 participants walked with 51 community groups this year — up from 395 participants and 41 groups in 2025. That's a parade nearly double the size it was just two years ago, and it's the clearest sign yet that Pride Halton has become something people build their summer plans around, not just show up to.
Pride in the Park drew a crowd to match
Over 2,000 people came through Pride in the Park in 2026, up from 1,700+ in its debut year. With that growth came more to do once you got there: 95 vendors lined the park (up from 60), and food trucks went from a single truck last year to nine this year — turning the park into a genuine festival grounds rather than a parade afterparty.
Drag took the stage — publicly, for the first time
In 2025, drag performances were part of a private event. In 2026, three drag queens performed live on the main stage in front of the full Pride in the Park crowd — the first time Pride Halton has brought drag to a public stage. It was one of the most talked-about moments of the day.
Civic support kept showing up
Three mayors from across the region joined us this year, up from two in 2025 — a sign that support for Pride Halton continues to grow at the local government level, not just in the community. We were also joined by an MP in person, along with participation from MP groups in the parade.
Community support held strong
51 sponsors and community partners backed Pride Halton in 2026, helping fund everything from the parade to the entertainment on stage. Every one of them made this year possible.
